Twilight Swing

Get ready for a night of Music and Dance in the Twilight. This year Urangan Pier Park will play host to the newest addition to the 2023 Whale Festival – ‘The Twilight Swing’. Inspired by the ‘Migaloo Starlight Swing’ from a decade past, FCTE will be leaning into the nostalgia with this candid social event kicking off the ‘Hervey Bay Whale Festival – City & Sea’ weekend.

Featuring Rock ‘n’ Roll music from crowd-favourites ‘Rock N Roll Boys’, dancing in the moonlight is encouraged as we celebrate this region’s registration as a Heritage-listed home for Humpbacks. Food vendors will be available on the night, but feel free to bring your own twilight picnic for an extra special evening affair. We will even have a wet area for those who wish to bring their own champagne to celebrate with.

Get your best tweed, put in your pin-curlers, and dance the night away as we take a step into yesteryear with a fun night supporting the whales. No registration necessary – simply ‘Rock N Roll’ up and enjoy this activation just south of the Urangan Pier between 4pm – 8pm on Friday, August 4th.
