Fraser Coast Chronicle Illumination Parade & Whale Concert | August 3, 2019.

Seafront Oval | 4pm – 8:30pm

Join us for an enchanting spectacle of lights and floats representing the humpback’s annual migration, followed by a fabulous FREE concert with leading Australian and local artists. 

Hervey Bay’s Charlton Esplanade will be illuminated with lights, music, costumes and more! The theme for the 2019 Fraser Coast Chronicle Illumination Parade is ‘have a whale of a time!’ For the best view of the parade, pick your spot between Frank Street and Seafront Oval – the parade starts at 5:30pm.

Head to Seafront Oval after the parade for live entertainment, carnival rides, market stalls, food stalls and more! The Whale Concert will take place from 4pm to 8:30pm at Seafront Oval. On stage performing at this year’s concert are Brothers in Groove, Tyra Steinkohl & Derek F. Smith. Plus be sure to look up for fireworks at 8:30pm! There’s plenty to see and do, so grab your friends and family for a great evening in Hervey Bay. 

Concert – Entertainment

Come on down to Seafront Oval for the annual Whale Concert. This year’s program features fantastic entertainment for an evening of family fun! 

The event kicks off at 4pm with kids activities, market stalls and amusement rides. Grab something tasty for dinner from one of our local food stalls and set out your picnic rug to enjoy the sweet sounds of Brothers in Groove.
